Artisans skills were improved, and the product range expanded to include traditional woven patterns in various items. Efforts to enhance production capabilities included developing an adjustable frame for rug weaving and experimenting with innovative techniques like incorporating jute ropes into bag weaving and creating textured yarns through wet felting. Despite challenges such as wool segregation, yarn shortages, and a lack of essential tools like spinning charkhas and carding machines, the project persevered.
